About this role
SECURICO™ Guard Services Inc. is a licensed California Private Patrol Operator providing professional on-site security services to commercial, industrial, and residential properties throughout California. We are currently hiring reliable and professional Security Officers for client sites in SAN DIEGO.
Available Shifts
Multiple shifts are currently available. Officers may be assigned based on availability and operational needs.
Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
Overtime and additional shifts may be available depending on client needs.
Assignments may be located at client properties throughout Southern California.
Officers may be assigned to one or more locations based on scheduling and operational requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Security Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at assigned client properties. Duties may include:
Maintaining a high visibility security presence to deter unauthorized activity Conducting regular patrols of the property Monitoring entrances, exits, and surrounding areas Observing and reporting suspicious activity or safety concerns Preparing daily activity reports and incident reports Providing professional customer service to tenants, employees, and visitors Enforcing site policies and following post orders Responding appropriately to incidents and notifying supervisors when required Communicating effectively with supervisors and other team members
Duties may vary depending on the assigned property.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Valid California BSIS Guard Card (required) Must be 18 years of age or older Reliable transportation to assigned job sites Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong reliability and punctuality
Previous security experience is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
This position may require the ability to:
Stand or walk for extended periods Conduct patrols of buildings and parking areas Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Sit for extended periods while monitoring entrances or surveillance equipment Bend, climb stairs, and lift up to approximately 25 pounds when necessary
