How you’ll make an impact in this role Monitor for security threats and respond quickly to any issues.
Investigate, document, and manage security incidents and hazards.
Follow alarm procedures and emergency/disaster plans; assist with drills when needed.
Provide safety information and assistance to staff and visitors.
If driving is required, operate vehicles safely and follow all traffic and parking laws.
What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Drivers License credentialed from the Texas Department of Public Safety obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Security Guard specializing in Weapon Permit credentialed from the Texas Department of Public Safety obtained within 4 Months (120 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Security Professional credentialed from the Texas Department of Public Safety preferred.Education:
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.Equal employment opportunity employer
