Registered Nurse

A leading private hospital group is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (ICU) for their facility in George. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring clinical excellence.

Responsibilities Patient Care & Clinical Practice Collaborate with doctors and healthcare professionals to develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans. Provide comprehensive and professional nursing care to patients in accordance with the SANC scope of practice. Accurately monitor, record, and interpret patient vital signs and clinical data, reporting changes to the medical team. Medication & Treatment Administration Maintain meticulous and up-to-date patient records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and confidential. Administer prescribed medications and treatments with precision, monitoring patients for side effects and effectiveness. Infection Control & Safety Compliance Respond effectively to medical emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions as part of the resuscitation team. Strictly adhere to infection prevention and control standards to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff to ensure high-quality care delivery across all shifts.

Requirements Valid SANC registration as a Registered Nurse Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing protocols Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment Compassionate and patient-centered approach Experience in specialized units (ICU, Trauma, etc.) is a plus

Qualifications Degree or Diploma in Nursing. Active SANC Registration.
