Role and Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Material Handler role is physically demanding and focuses on building accurate pallets for bulk, route, and transport trucks. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, maintaining accuracy in order fulfillment, and ensuring warehouse safety standards are met. This position requires use of forklifts or electronic pallet jacks while working from electronic or printed order systems.
Hand-build pallets for bulk, route, and transport trucksOperate forklifts and electronic pallet jacks to move and build product loadsFulfill orders using electronic systems or printed order sheetsEnsure accuracy of orders and proper documentationFollow warehouse guidelines for load building and stagingUnload raw materials and place them in designated areasLoad transport trucks with completed pallets and handle returned materialsSelect and stack designated products for bulk loading, shrink-wrap, and stage for deliveryCustomize route truck loads per salesperson instructionsUnload returned products and packaging from trucksLift cases weighing 20–45 lbs repeatedly during extended shiftsPerform constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and graspingMaintain housekeeping standards and ensure a safe work environmentPrimary Job Accountabilities:
Operate power pallet jacks or forklifts to pick and build loads according to load sheets or voice-pick systemsMark load tickets for out-of-stock itemsWrap and secure completed palletsSubmit paperwork for order checks and truck inspections prior to loadingStage and load completed pallets into trucksComplete and properly store partial or mixed palletsMaintain consistent and reliable attendanceRequired Skills and Experience:
Ability to repeatedly lift cases weighing 20–45 lbs during extended shiftsCapability to perform physically demanding tasks with continuous movementStrong attention to detail to maintain order accuracy and proper documentationCommitment to maintaining warehouse safety and cleanliness standardsWork Conditions:
Ability to work in varying weather conditionsShift durations may change depending on workloadPhysically intensive environment with repetitive lifting and movementCompensation and Benefits:
