Compensation: 10 24 Lakhs Per Annum (Based on experience & specialty exposure)

About the Role We are looking for an experienced and clinically strong EMR Implementation Specialist who can work closely with senior consultants, department heads, and hospital management teams to drive successful EMR and AI-enabled OPD workflow adoption within one of Indias top hospitals. This role is not just about software implementation. It requires someone who understands how doctors think, document, diagnose, prescribe, and manage patient consultations across specialties and can convert those workflows into practical, specialty-wise digital configurations inside the EMR platform.

The ideal candidate should be capable of interacting confidently with top doctors, understanding specialty-specific clinical workflows, configuring templates and structured data capture mechanisms, enabling specialty-wise tagging/classification, and ensuring that the platform delivers measurable value during real-world patient consultations.

The role also demands strong understanding of healthcare compliance frameworks including medico-legal documentation standards, DPDP compliance, HIPAA principles, clinical auditability, consent workflows, and patient data privacy.

Key Responsibilities Clinical Workflow Understanding & Doctor Interaction

Interact directly with senior doctors, HODs, consultants, and clinical teams across departments. Understand specialty-wise OPD workflows, prescription patterns, clinical observations, and documentation requirements. Conduct one-on-one workflow discovery sessions with doctors. Translate clinical consultation patterns into structured EMR workflows. Understand doctor pain points during OPD consultations and configure the platform accordingly. Identify opportunities where AI-assisted workflows can improve doctor efficiency, documentation quality, and patient experience.

Specialty-Wise EMR Configuration & Data Structuring

Configure specialty-specific templates, forms, prescription workflows, and clinical data structures.

Define structured tagging for

Diagnosis

Procedures

Medications

Observations

Lab parameters

Imaging workflows

Patient history

Follow-up pathways

Create specialty-specific smart templates for departments such as:

Cardiology

Orthopedics

ENT

Nephrology

Oncology

General Medicine

Pediatrics

Gynecology

Surgery

Dermatology

Neurology

Support structured coding readiness for ICD-10, SNOMED-CT, LOINC, and NABH-aligned documentation standards.

Doctor Adoption & Change Management

Drive doctor adoption during live OPD consultations. Help doctors transition from paper/manual workflows to digital workflows with minimal friction. Demonstrate practical clinical value during patient consultations. Conduct specialty-wise training sessions and adoption workshops. Work closely with doctors during initial implementation and stabilization phases. Capture doctor feedback and continuously improve configurations. Act as a bridge between doctors, product teams, implementation teams, and hospital management.

AI Workflow Enablement

Assist in implementation of:

AI voice prescription workflows

Clinical summarization workflows

Structured EMR documentation

Prescription enrichment workflows

Smart clinical retrieval systems

Validate AI-generated outputs for clinical relevance and usability.

Ensure AI workflows align with actual doctor consultation patterns.

Compliance, Privacy & Clinical Governance

Ensure platform workflows comply with:

DPDP Act (India)

HIPAA principles

NABH documentation standards

Clinical audit requirements

Medico-legal documentation best practices

Ensure proper consent workflows and data privacy standards are followed.
