At Adaptic, our Business Financial Professionals ensure mission priorities are backed by accurate planning, execution, and financial insight. Supporting the DoD and Intelligence Community, you'll help manage budgets, track funding, and provide the visibility needed to keep programs operating efficiently and effectively.
Whether you're early in your financial career or supporting complex program portfolios, we're looking for professionals at all levels who are detail-oriented, analytical, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
Your Impact
You'll support financial planning, execution, and reporting across program lifecycleshelping ensure resources are aligned to mission needs. Day-to-day, that can look like:
Assisting with validation and completion of Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) Supporting end-of-year closeout activities and financial data calls Entering and managing requisitions within financial management systems Preparing and processing MIPRs and Economy Act Orders (EAOs) Tracking requisitions through approval, certification, and execution workflows Creating and maintaining spend plans aligned to program requirements Modifying financial documentation to ensure compliance with contracting guidance Monitoring financial code usage and ensuring proper allocation of funds Pulling and analyzing financial data from systems (e.g., FACTS, CMIS, EDSS, CDW) Monitoring budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying variances Providing financial status reports, including funding shortfalls and excess analysis Supporting estimating activities and basis of estimate (BOE) development Preparing financial briefings, reports, and materials for program and leadership reviews Assisting with budget planning and financial forecasting across programs and cost centers Supporting financial reviews, audits, and data calls Compiling and reporting program and budget data for stakeholder submission Assisting in development and maintenance of funding profiles Supporting strategic business planning and financial decision-making Qualifications
All positions require an active TS/SCI with polygraph Experience supporting financial management, budgeting, or program financial analysis Familiarity with DoD/IC financial processes, systems, and lifecycle activities Experience working with financial systems and data reporting tools Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, or execution tracking Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments Strong communication skills, including reporting and briefing support A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Nice to Have
Experience supporting Government Business Financial Management (BFM) activities Familiarity with MIPRs, EAOs, and requisition workflows Experience supporting budget formulation, execution, and closeout activities Exposure to financial reporting systems such as FACTS, CMIS, EDSS, or CDW Experience supporting program financial reviews or audits Background supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs
