Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Facilities Management Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of their facilities. This role is essential for maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment for all employees and visitors. You will be responsible for supervising cleaning staff, managing maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent leadership abilities, and a practical understanding of facility maintenance and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities: Supervise and manage a team of cleaning and maintenance staff, ensuring high standards of performance and professionalism. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all facilities. Oversee routine maintenance tasks and coordinate timely repairs for building systems and equipment. Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and address any facility-related issues or safety hazards. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and other facility-related materials. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized maintenance or repair work. Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and ensure appropriate action is taken. Assist in developing and managing the facilities maintenance budget. Train new staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and inventory. Foster a culture of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency within the facilities team. Liaise with other departments to address their facility-related needs and concerns. Implement energy conservation measures and promote sustainable practices within the facility. Ensure a welcoming and well-maintained environment for all occupants. This is an important role for maintaining the operational integrity of our client's premises. It requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to excellence. Our client is located in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, ZA , and this position requires your consistent on-site presence.
