Laborer

Position Summary:

The Laborer/Groundman position is an entry-level position in the construction, maintenance and repair of foundations for primarily distribution, transmission & substation systems.

Essential Functions:

Able to perform heavy physical labor including excavation and concrete work Works as part of a crew-teamwork Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by supervisor, crew leader, foreman, etc. Operate construction equipment Handle physically demanding construction duties ______________________________________________________________________________

Other Requirements:

Able to read and communicate effectively in English. Work is performed outside and includes exposure to extreme cold, heat inclement weather & noise. Willing to work in various locations across the state/country and for extended periods, when required. Must be able to follow Company safety rules and all other Company policies. CDL is not required but a plus; Valid Driver's license required Willing to submit and pass a pre-employment drug screen Ability to perform all assigned tasks in a safe and effective manner Ability to understand and communicate information and work in a team environment Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig, climb and reach Able to lift, carry and place heavy objects Must have acceptable MVR We participate in E-Verify _____________________________________________________________________________________ Required Physical Demands:
