Job Details
Duties and responsibilities:
Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients. Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner. This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills. Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwritingManage security services and related operations including preparation of post orders, staffing, scheduling, payroll, supervision and training at an assigned site. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of security officers, ensuring effective performance and adherence to protocols.Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructionsAdvanced computer skills to utilize innovative, access control technology at client-specific sitesAbility to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficientlyRespond to emergencies, investigate disturbances, and help ensure the safety and security of people and property.
Schedule: Monday-Friday (1345-2215)
Physical Requirements:
This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to:
Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1-2 miles per shift)Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routesWork indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsMaintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrolsOccasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Qualifications:
18+ years of age CA Security Guard CardMinimum 1 year security experience required. High School Diploma or GED required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Clean driving record and valid driver license Capable of following complex instructions Strong interpersonal skills Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. Knowledge of security operations and procedures
