Position Overview
Security Officers at Omega are responsible for maintaining control, safety, and professionalism at some of the busiest and most visible venues in the city.
This is not a passive role. You are part of the front-facing operation. You set the tone at the door, manage entry, support staff, and handle issues before they escalate.
You are expected to be alert, composed, and consistent in how you operate.
All new hires go through a structured onboarding process that includes classroom instruction, site-specific expectations, and hands-on field training with experienced officers.
What We’re Looking For
We hire selectively. The right candidates are:
Reliable and on time every shift
Professional in appearance, communication, and conduct
Calm and controlled under pressure
Comfortable managing people and enforcing rules without hesitation
Situationally aware and able to read environments quickly
Coachable and able to follow direction and post orders
Hospitality-minded while still maintaining control of the environment
Experience in nightlife, restaurants, or customer-facing roles is a strong plus. Security experience helps but is not required. We train the right people.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on the venue, responsibilities may include:
Managing entry points and controlling access
Checking IDs and verifying age compliance
Monitoring crowd flow, occupancy, and guest behavior
Supporting venue staff with enforcement decisions and removals
Maintaining a visible, professional presence at all times
Conducting patrols of interior and exterior areas
Documenting incidents clearly and professionally
Responding to issues quickly and appropriately
Interacting with guests in a way that reflects well on the venue and Omega
Training and Standards
Omega operates with clear expectations:
Structured onboarding and site-specific training
PPSB certification required and provided
Ongoing performance evaluation based on reliability, conduct, and execution
Strict attendance standards. If you are not dependable, this will not be a fit

Requirements
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Ability to obtain and maintain a PPSB certification
Ability to stand, walk, and remain engaged for extended periods
Availability for nights, weekends, and peak hours
Schedule and Availability Expectations
Consistent availability is required
Frequent call-outs and last-minute cancellations are not acceptable in this role
