Work Location This position may be filled in any of the following State Fund locations: Bakersfield, Eureka, Fresno, Oxnard, Pleasanton, Redding, Riverside, Glendale, Rohnert Park, Sacramento, Santa Ana, San Diego, Stockton, or Vacaville.
Interview Process:
All interviews are expected to be held in person at one of the following State Fund locations based upon candidate’s closest geographical area: Sacramento, Fresno, Glendale, Santa Ana, and potentially Riverside.
Location and interview format subject to change at State Fund’s discretion. In this Role You Will:
Ensure timely and accurate benefit provision, according to claims management, corporate policies & procedures and Department of Workers' Compensation laws and regulations Proactively and independently, manage, finalize and control (adjust) an inventory Collaborate with a team of claims professionals and other stakeholders Serve as a resource to other team members and/or other internal staff Ensure delivery of a high-quality claims product as demonstrated by successful execution of job duties Our Ideal Ca ndidate is:

If you have more than 4 years of workers' compensation claims adjusting experience, please see posting JC- 503179for openings at the Senior Workers' Compensation Claims level.

Effective July 1, 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) which reduces an employee’s monthly salary in exchange for leave credits. Employees appointed to this classification will have their monthly salary reduced and will accrue hours of PLP 2025 on the first day of each pay period in accordance with the applicable The salary range(s) included on this job posting do not reflect the reduction in pay.
