As a Retail Store Manager (Store Leader), you will play a critical role in driving store success, leading teams, and ensuring a safe and engaging environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Store Manager, you will oversee all aspects of store operations including people leadership, customer experience, operational execution, and financial performance.

Lead all store operations including sales, customer service, merchandising, and pet careMake employment decisions including recruiting, hiring, coaching, and terminationsCreate and maintain store schedules while managing labor budgetsFoster an open-door culture and engage associates through feedback and recognitionSupport associate development through training, mentoring, and succession planningDelegate responsibilities and empower team members to achieve resultsCommunicate company goals, priorities, and updates to the teamAddress associate concerns, complaints, and grievancesEnsure timely completion of associate performance reviewsDrive an exceptional pet parent experience across all customer touchpointsRespond to and resolve customer concerns, including escalated issuesEnsure the health, safety, and proper care of all store-owned petsPartner with leadership team to execute in-store and community eventsMaintain store standards, cleanliness, and compliance with company policiesConduct store walks and audits to ensure operational excellenceMonitor safety practices through store systems and provide coaching as neededEnsure proper inventory management and in-stock levelsAnalyze business reports and identify opportunities for growthDrive sales, profitability, and achievement of store financial targetsManage expenses including labor, supplies, and operational costsCommunicate financial results and implement improvement plansCoordinate with corporate partners for store support and maintenanceOversee payroll processing and reporting requirementsSupport store opening and closing proceduresRequired Skills and Experience:

46 years of retail leadership or customer-focused experienceStrong leadership and team management skillsProficiency in computer applicationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and adapt to changing environmentsStrong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesFull-time availability with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidaysSupervisory Responsibility:

Oversees Experience Leader, Process Leader, up to six lead associates, and 1070 non-leader associatesResponsible for hiring, performance management, and associate developmentEnsures compliance with company policies and proceduresCompensation and Benefits:
