As a Security Officer Front Desk Security in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a government location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity from a stationary post, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at a government location. Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, verify identification and/or credentials as directed, and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity. Respond to incidents, questions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Operate front desk systems such as visitor logs, badge processes, phones, and/or basic reporting tools while maintaining accurate security-related documentation. Support emergency response activities when appropriate, provide directions and information to guests, and report maintenance, access control, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements:

A current guard card or license is preferred. A current pepper spray certification is preferred. A current CPR certification is preferred. A current handcuffing certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
