Experienced Retail Security Officer

We at RFC Security Group are happy to announce that we are currently seeking a professional and experienced Retail Security Officer to join our ever-expanding team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of staff, customers, and property within a high-profile retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a visible security presence to deter theft, anti-social behaviour, and safety incidents Monitor and patrol the retail premises, responding to incidents as required Carry out loss prevention duties, including bag checks and CCTV monitoring Report incidents clearly and accurately using company procedures Liaise effectively with store management and members of the public Remain calm and act professionally under pressure

Essential Requirements

Minimum 1 year experience in Retail Security in Ireland Valid PSA (Private Security Authority) Licence Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to remain observant, alert, and proactive Full flexibility, including availability to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays Strong professional appearance and attitude

Desirable

Manual handling or first aid certification Experience dealing with conflict resolution Familiarity with retail reporting systems and bodycam operation
