Security Guard (Welfare Officer) – 2 Day Work Week (24 Hours) – Wexford

We are expanding our team and are looking for a professional and reliable Security Officer to support the safe and smooth operation of our residential accommodation centre in Wexford.

This role offers part-time and full-time positions.

Part-time: 2 days, with 5 days off each week.

Shift Pattern

Thursday & Friday 8:00am – 8:00pm 24 hours per week

This is an ideal role for someone looking for consistent hours and a stable schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the premises Monitor CCTV and security systems Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and staff Respond to incidents and report issues to management Assist residents where appropriate and maintain a professional presence Ensure health and safety standards are followed Record incidents and complete basic reports when required

Requirements

Valid PSA Licence (required) Previous security experience preferred Strong communication and observation skills Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with incidents Physically able to conduct regular patrols Own transport (required)

Training Provided

Manual Handling First Aid Fire Warden Training

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: €17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
