Role and Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Loader is a labor-intensive position responsible for hand building pallets of product for bulk, route, and transport trucks. This role requires strict attention to order accuracy when loading outgoing trucks and unloading incoming trucks. You will work from electronic order systems or printed order sheets, using forklifts and/or electronic pallet jacks to build and stage loads while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Hand-build pallets for bulk, route, and transport trucksUse forklift and/or electronic pallet jack to move and build product loadsWork from electronic order systems or printed order sheets to fulfill ordersMaintain high attention to order accuracy and proper documentationFollow warehouse instructions for load building and stagingUnload raw materials and place them in designated areasLoad transport trucks with full pallets; remove returned pallets/plastic flatsSelect and stack designated packages/flavors for bulk truck loading; shrink-wrap and stage for deliveryCustomize route truck loads per salesperson’s orderUnload returned products and packaging materials from trucksLift cases weighing 20–45 lbs repeatedly during extended shiftsEngage in constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and graspingMaintain housekeeping standards and ensure a safe work environmentPrimary Job Accountabilities:
Drive power pallet jack or forklift to the picking area and build loads per load sheet or voice-pick systemMark load tickets for out-of-stock itemsWrap completed palletsSubmit paperwork for order checks and truck inspection before loadingStage completed pallets and load them into trucksComplete partial pallets and store mixed pallets appropriatelyEnsure regular, reliable, and predictable attendanceRequired Skills and Experience:
Ability to lift 20–45 lb cases repeatedly during long shiftsCapability to work in a physically demanding environment with constant movementAbility to maintain order accuracy and comply with documentation standardsCommitment to upholding warehouse safety and cleanliness standardsWork Conditions:
Must be able to work in various weather conditionsShift duration may vary daily depending on workloadPhysically demanding environment with repetitive lifting and movementCompensation and Benefits:
