Security Guard

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team to support a mine site in Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients' mine site, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies to protect property and ensure the safety of individuals on-site. This will be a mine-support role, with camp-accommodations, and a 14/14 shift (travelling to site from Saskatoon). Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.Operate and maintain CCTV systems to ensure effective surveillance coverage.Conduct regular inspections of premises, including doors, windows, and security systems.Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or provide information.Enforce company policies and procedures related to security and safety protocols.Document daily activities, incidents, and any irregularities in a clear and concise manner.Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients, employees, and visitors.Qualifications Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or loss prevention is preferred.Previous experience in supporting a mine or industrial site in a security or similar roleFamiliarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems.Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.Must possess a valid security license or certification as required by local regulations.Join our team as a Security Guard where your vigilance will contribute significantly to the safety of our environment!
