About The Opportunity The Nova Scotia Health Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Nova Scotia Health (NSH) patients, staff, visitors, and assets. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and respectful environment in accordance with NSH policies, emergency response procedures, and applicable legislation. The Security Officer provides visible security presence, oversees proactive patrols, responds to emergencies, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders such as facilities management, healthcare teams, and law enforcement.
