Job Description
Security Officer Job Responsibilities:
Maintains a safe and secure environment for guests by patrolling and monitoring premises.
Security Officer Job Duties:
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Dispatch and communicate with Law Enforcement as needed Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; trespassing as needed. Controls traffic by directing drivers as needed Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Security Officer Skills and Qualifications:
Surveillance Skills, Deals with Uncertainty, Judgment, Objectivity, Dependability, Emotional Control, Integrity, Safety Management, Professionalism, Reporting Skills
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Three years of experience in Military, Law enforcement or Security field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Possession of a current D Security license is required upon employment.
