As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post. You will support access activities and deliver strong customer service and communication while representing a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and always acts with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 09:00 PMTue01:00 PM - 09:00 PMWed01:00 PM - 09:00 PMThur01:00 PM - 09:00 PMSun01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post orders, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated access points, verifying credentials and reporting unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.Support a professional presence at a government location by assisting with directional inquiries, maintaining awareness of daily operations, and communicating clearly with site contacts, employees, and/or first responders. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.Be at least 21 years of age.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only. What You'll Do
