About this role
Our client, a technology company in Bloemfontein, Free State, is looking for a Project Coordinator to manage software development projects using Agile. You will facilitate sprint planning and retrospectives, manage the product backlog, remove impediments, and ensure deliverables meet acceptance criteria. Scrum Master certification is required.
Responsibilities Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders and develop comprehensive project charters and plans. Lead and motivate project teams to achieve objectives, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Estimate and manage project budgets and resources, tracking actual expenditure against forecasts and implementing corrective actions. Manage relationships with project stakeholders including clients, sponsors, team members, and vendors, ensuring clear communication. Develop and manage detailed project schedules using project management software, identifying critical path activities and tracking progress. Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, maintaining registers and implementing mitigation and contingency plans. Manage project changes through a formal change control process, assessing impact on scope, schedule, and budget before approval.
Requirements A bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related field from a recognised institution. Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, or Monday.com for planning and tracking. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels. Strong financial acumen including experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for projects. Excellent leadership and team management skills to motivate and direct cross-functional project teams.
Qualifications PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification
