Our reputation is built on reliability, safety, respect, and honesty. Summary We are seeking a dedicated and professional Security Officer to join our team in Ilfracombe. This role is key to maintaining the safety and security of our client’s premises while delivering a high standard of service. This is a unique opportunity to be part of establishing a new on-site security presence for a client who has not previously had a physical security team. As such, you will play an important role in setting standards and building trust with the client. Responsibilities Monitor premises through surveillance systems to ensure safety. Conduct regular patrols of the client's site. Deter and prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorised access. Respond promptly and effectively to incidents or alarms. Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents. Provide a professional and approachable presence for clients and visitors. Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures. Qualifications Previous experience in a security role is preferred. Valid SIA licence (essential) Strong observational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, professional, and well-presented Ability to administer first aid (desirable) Flexibility to cover shifts, including holiday cover when required Why Join Us?
