In this role, you will assist in organizing, assembling, and shipping materials. Working within a climate-controlled warehouse, you will collaborate with the team to meet production objectives, all while prioritizing safety and operational efficiency. Role and Responsibilities: As a Warehouse Order Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for organizing, assembling, and stocking products for display. You will contribute to the smooth flow of warehouse operations by maintaining high standards for productivity, safety, and teamwork. Organize and assemble display units using cardboard and plastic materials.Operate tools such as hot glue guns, staplers, and zip ties; after training, use shrink-wrapping machines and banders.Work closely with team members on co-packing lines, following clear instructions.Regularly lift and move items up to 25 lbs, with assistance for heavier items.Maintain a fast-paced work environment while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.Engage in physical tasks, such as bending, reaching, and crouching, as needed by supervisors.Safely operate light machinery and equipment after completing the required training.Follow the company dress code and warehouse guidelines at all times.Required Skills and Experience: Ability to stand for long durations (up to 8 hours per shift).Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.Capacity to follow detailed instructions and uphold safety standards.Experience with basic warehouse tools and equipment is advantageous.Physical capability to lift, bend, crouch, and perform repetitive tasks.Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a warehouse or assembly line environment.Familiarity with shrink-wrap machines and banding equipment.Understanding of warehouse safety practices and equipment operation.Compensation and Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and short-term disability coverage.Eligibility to participate in a retirement savings plan.Paid time off (PTO) for employees in Illinois.Two paid 20-minute breaks per shift, with access to microwaves, refrigerators, and vending machines.Opportunity for voluntary overtime during peak seasons.About Employbridge: Employbridge is committed to providing workforce solutions that help individuals connect with meaningful job opportunities.
