Security Guard

Overview

River City Security is a women-owned, veteran-operated security company committed to providing dependable protection for commercial, industrial, and government clients throughout Northeast Florida. We are currently hiring licensed Security Officers for assignments that require an active TWIC card. These positions may include port facilities, terminals, construction sites, and other restricted access locations.

This position requires reliability, professionalism, and the ability to follow strict access control procedures.

Responsibilities

Control access to restricted property or facility Verify identification and TWIC credentials as required Monitor gates, entrances, and secure areas Conduct patrols of assigned site Respond to incidents or safety concerns Complete electronic activity and incident reports Follow all client and company post orders

Required Qualifications

Active Florida Class D Security License (required) Active TWIC Card (required) Ability to pass background check and drug screening Reliable transportation Professional appearance and communication Ability to stand or walk for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

Previous port, terminal, or industrial security experience Military or law enforcement background Valid driver’s license Experience with access control or gate security
