Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Technician to join their team in Port Elizabeth. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced technical environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and support. The Technician will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding, repair, and upgrading of advanced equipment and systems, including the installation and maintenance of tail lift systems, within the Port Elizabeth branch. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation, reliability, and performance of all technical equipment while supporting day-to-day operational requirements. Key Responsibilities Monitor, service, and maintain equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and conduct detailed testing Complete technical reports and provide accurate feedback on system performance Repair, replace, and upgrade faulty equipment and components Carry out installations, body modifications, and basic fabrication to accommodate equipment Attend to breakdowns and provide efficient on-site support when required Liaise with customers and provide professional technical feedback Mentor and support junior technical staff, ensuring skills development and performance improvement Oversee and manage servicing and maintenance activities on-site Ensure proper use, care, and control of company assets (including vehicles, tools, and equipment) Promote and enforce safe working environments and correct tool handling practices Assist with daily operations, workflow planning, and task execution Lead and oversee large-scale projects from planning to completion Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workshop organisation Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Support management and supervisors with advanced problem-solving and technical decision-making Promote strong work ethics, professionalism, and positive team culture within the workshop Requirements 5 years’ experience in a similar role Strong technical expertise and qualifications in Hydraulics and Electrical systems Ability to work independently and under pressure Willingness to work on-site and handle off-site breakdowns Valid Code 8 and own transport To Apply Visit - www.pulserecruitment.co.za Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: R16 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month Work Location: In person

5 years’ experience in a similar role Strong technical expertise and qualifications in Hydraulics and Electrical systems Ability to work independently and under pressure Willingness to work on-site and handle off-site breakdowns Valid Code 8 and own transport
