A position for a part-time weekend sales assistant in Aquatics have become available within our busy, family run garden centre It requires a friendly, knowledgeable and energetic person to ensure that our customers have the best possible experience. Someone to greet our customers as they walk in, provide solutions and answers to their questions, and make sure they walk out with everything they need. Somebody with a passion for sales that thrives in a fast paced environment. The duties will include: Working within our Aquatics department selling Livestock, tanks and accessories. Daily duties, daily/weekly maintenance jobs as per lists, stacking shelves, merchandising, housekeeping within department. Greet all our customers in an articulate, approachable and friendly manor to maintain our high standards of customer care. Communicate your knowledge clearly to customers with varying levels of experience. Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment. Complete sales correctly and efficiently ensuring customers leave the store fully satisfied. Up selling products while negotiating a sale. Be self-motivated, positive and organized. Be reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic to learn. Greet all our customers in an articulate, approachable and friendly manor to maintain our high standards of customer care.
