Our client in the Western Cape region is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to manage financial transactions and ensure regulatory compliance in George. Responsibilities Manage all accounting transactions Prepare budget forecasts and financial statements Publish financial statements in time Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings Reconcile accounts payable and receivable Ensure timely bank payments and tax returns Requirements Proven work experience as an Accountant Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP Hands-on experience with accounting software like Sage or Pastel Advanced MS Excel skills Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills Qualifications B.Com Degree in Accounting or Finance. SAICA/SAIPA registration preferred.
