AFIMAC is seeking licensed Security Guards for current and upcoming projects in British Columbia ***Please note this is a temporary contract position, so it may not be suitable to someone currently working full time*** $20.00 per hour before overtimeHotel accommodations provided when required$30 per diem when lodging requiredContract length 1-120 daysAFIMAC Security Guards are deployed to various types of assignments including: Labour DisruptionsOrganized protestsMan made crisis/disasters (crime scenes, structural fires ,etc.)Required Education, Skills and Qualifications To be eligible to work for AFIMAC you must meet the following criteria: Possess a valid security guard license in the province of British ColumbiaFlexibility and a willingness to travel on short notice within your home province to projects for extended periods of time (minimum 4 week commitment)Ability to work 84 hours per week: 12 hour shifts, including weekends and holidaysAble to sit, walk, stand, and or drive for extended periods of timeAble to read, write, and speak EnglishBe a Canadian resident and legally entitled to work in CanadaPrevious experience dealing with confrontational situations and having the ability to de-escalate with little to no supervisionExcellent report writing skillsAFIMAC is a global risk management and elite security company.
