Security Officer Position Ensure the safety and security to guests, team members, and Company assets. Perform Responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures. The Security Officer position has various shifts available. *KSON SECURITY IS CURRENTLY OFFERING A $200 SIGN-ON BONUS FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES* KSON Security is hiring Security Officer's to fill positions at several of our contracted bar, restaurant, and nightlife operations in Downtown Nashville. Open positions are available at: Jason Aldean's Kitchen + Rooftop Bar Lainey Wilson's Bell Bottoms Up Luke's 32 Bridge Miranda Lambert's Casa Rosa Morgan Wallen's This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen Posty's Benefits And Offerings Competitive Wages Reimbursement for Cost of State-Required, Unarmed Security Guard Licensing Discounted Downtown Parking On-Site Training & First Aid Certifications Part-Time and Full-Time Positions Available $200 Sign On Bonus Essential Functions Of The Position Include, But Are Not Limited To: Practice, support, and promote company-wide culture and demonstrate TCRG Service Standards at all times. Respond to and assist in all emergencies. Patrol assigned area and observe, or stand at assigned post and observe all areas to preserve order among guests, team members, and Company property. Respond to all disturbances in order to defuse the situation. Be prepared to become involved in a physical confrontation when necessary. Always remain alert. Observe, report, and take action as necessary with all suspicious situations, unusual situations, and with undesirable guests in the venue. Comply with all department and Company policies and procedures. Document all incidents in detailed reports relating to property, guests, and team members as directed. Act as a role model to all Team Members and always present yourself as a credit to the Company and encourage others to do the same. Have a working knowledge of applicable laws (Federal, State and local laws), policies and procedures and a working knowledge for enforcement of laws, policies and procedures. Promote positive public relations and create an enjoyable atmosphere for all guests. Maintain a high level of personal integrity and moral conduct free of any questionable association. Ability to provide and create a guest experience that exceeds expectations and builds loyalty. Practice teamwork, support fellow team members, create and contribute to an energized, positive work atmosphere. Maintain appropriate grooming and uniform standards. Overall appearance is to be immaculate. Display friendly and courteous behavior at all times. Be aware of and handle guest opportunities. Notify a Security Supervisor of any incidents, and area checks. Have a working knowledge of safety and emergency protocols. Prevent indecent and prohibited behavior, persons annoying other guests, and damage to Company property. Warn guests of infractions and assist in ejections from the venue as appropriate. Ability to be exposed nightlife environmental factors including but not limited to second-hand smoke, excessive noise, flashing/strobe lights, and stress levels related to interacting with guests in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime. When assigned to screening and checkpoints, follow all best practices to ensure the safety of the venue. Testify in court as needed. Working Conditions: Work will include indoor and/or outdoor areas. Must have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat and sun exposure. Work is typically in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy etc. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3 ft. access. Tasks are performed from a non-sitting and sitting position. Team Members will be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull and grasp. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Constant contact with guests and fellow Team Members is required. Able to wear and use a portable radio and headset. Willing to work in a loud and smoke-filled environment. In Addition To The Aforementioned Essential Job Functions, Security Officer Will Be Evaluated On The Following Leadership Qualities: Accountability Development Working Relationships Judgment Quality Of Work Job Skills Knowledge Productivity Dependability Punctuality Adherence To Policy Verbal Communication Attitude Appearance Teamwork Guest Satisfaction Education/Working Knowledge/Experience Requirements: 1-2 years working in the security filed preferred Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form. Working knowledge of the hospitality industry. Basic computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) Must not have been convicted of any crime for which registration is required.
