You will be based within their premises in Derby where you will receive training in all aspects of the IT recycling industry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone searching for a role that offers hands-on experience in a busy, fast-paced environment. The right candidate will be given the opportunity to apply to join the company on a permanent contract on completing the probationary period. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to learn and be trained by highly experienced and successful team of professionals. The duties include, but are not limited to, the following: recycling within the business, including: driving to different areas of the country to collect IT equipment, either singly or within a team travelling to remote sites, loading and unloading of company vehicles as required asseting of collected IT equipment as required, using excel to log asset information, including weighing of equipment for specific contractual requirements movement and stacking of equipment testing and breaking down of IT equipment as instructed, magisterially by the Managing Director, technically by the Warehouse Manager handling of batteries in accordance with relevant documentation Qualifications Required There are no formal qualifications required. Personal Qualities Professional and mature approach towards work Hardworking Methodical Attention to detail Trustworthy and reliable Desire to learn about the industry Enthusiasm “Can-do” attitude Hours of Work The role is from 8.30 to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
