Job description: We are looking for Security Guard or Door Supervisor SIA licenced staff to work as Security Officers for new contracts in Cornwall starting in July. The role will involve locations between Truro and Penzance, likely be 12 hours shifts and will include both day and night shifts. Responsibilities: Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain security and prevent unauthorised access Conduct regular inspections of the premises, identify any safety hazards or violations and report them to management. Provide assistance to all customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and polite manner Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities Requirements: Valid SIA licence - Security Guard or Door Supervisor will be accepted Valid Driving licence and access to your own vehicle is not essential but is preferred Strong observation skills and attention to detail Proven work experience as a Security Officer or similar role - At least one year is preferred. Basic Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for long periods of time Knowledge of first aid techniques and emergency procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations Why choose us?
