Security Officer At least 18 years of age. Has effective writing and communication skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner. Valid CA guard card/license. Display great customer service and communication skills. Must be able to walk or stand 7 hours out of an 8 hour shift. Have intermediate computer skills to operate wireless technology at client sites. Must learn how to communicate via radio or Zello. Must be able to learn military/police codes and phonetics. Ability to handle crisis situations at a client site calmly and effectively. Must be able to converse with authority and compassion. Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain, snow, or heat. Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds. Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
