Boilermaker A boilermaker is a tradesperson who manufactures, installs, and maintains boilers, tanks, and closed vats. Boilers heat the liquid, usually water, that is used to generate electric power or provide heat to buildings, factories, or ships. Their primary responsibilities include loading and unloading warehouse material, optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency and identifying damages to vehicles. Forklift Operator Responsibilities: Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items. Transporting materials to different locations within the facility. Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency. Securing loads to the machine before transportation. Inspecting for damages to vehicles. Scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs. Operating and managing technical equipment. Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment. Picking and wrapping orders for shipment. Identifying workplace safety hazards. Adhering to safety management standards. Adhering to production schedules. Forklift Operator Requirements: Valid fork-lifting certificate. Excellent hand-eye coordination. Code 10/14 Drivers - Richards Bay Area The Transport Department requires a Code 10/14 Driver who will be responsible for driving a code 10/14 truck. Tasks include, amongst others: Responsible for the vehicle. Day to day inspection of the vehicle and to report all faults. Responsibilities: Delivering of goods; Collect and verify delivery instructions; Meeting of deadlines e.g deliver perishable good at the right specific time; Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance; Issuing and reconciling of invoices; Assisting loaders with double checking of orders; Meet delivery schedules; Completing transfer documents; Transport cargo to and from distribution centres and plants.
