OverviewA leading distributor of luxury beauty products seeks a Visual Merchandiser to ensure consistent, impactful in‑store brand presentation across retail partners. The role focuses on implementing visual merchandising strategies, maintaining brand standards, and managing point‑of‑sale materials (POSM) to optimize shelf visibility and retail execution. Working closely with Brand Managers and Area Managers, you will ensure merchandising guidelines and planograms are implemented consistently across stores while identifying opportunities to expand shelf presence and secondary displays. Minimum RequirementsGrade 12 (Matric).Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.2–5 years’ visual merchandising experience within retail or brand environments.Strong merchandising and in‑store execution capability.Understanding of visual merchandising principles, planograms and retail display standards.Design awareness or practical experience in visual presentation.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the visual merchandising portfolio for temporary and on‑shelf POSM.Ensure consistent implementation of merchandising guidelines by Area Managers.Coordinate POSM ordering, distribution, and implementation.Develop merchandising guidelines, planograms and execution standards.Maintain POSM databases, distribution lists and visual libraries.Identify additional shelf space and secondary display opportunities.Monitor competitor activity and provide market feedback.Conduct regular market visits to assess merchandising execution.Support POSM design, warehouse stock management and supplier coordination.
