We are hiring for two Outside Patrol Security Officers to perform outdoor foot patrols around the Willis Tower in Downtown Chicago. These positions require working outside in all weather and seasons. Outdoor gear will be provided as part of the uniform. The current schedules are: Monday 3pm-11pm, Tuesday 10am-6pm, Wednesday 7am-3pm, and Saturday-Sunday 7am-3pm (40 hours/week).Monday-Tuesday 6pm-2am, Wednesday 3pm-11pm, Saturday-Sunday 2am-10am (40 hours/week) *schedules subject to change Responsibilities of Outside Security Officers include, but are not limited to: Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages. Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment Conduct foot patrols (could be walking up to 10 miles per day) and stand post outside, observing and reporting suspicious activity Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications of Security Officers: Must be at least 18 years of age Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a customer service, hotel or restaurant position High School diploma or general education degree (GED) Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check Able to read, write, speak, and understand English Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers: Bi-lingual considered a plus Pay and Benefits of Security Officers: Positions paying $19-20 / hour Paid time off and paid holidays Medical insurance Opportunities for career growth and promotion Skills-enhancing training EOE/M/F/D/V #HP
