Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, credential checks, and/or entry and exit monitoring at a logistics and distribution location.Monitor gates, docks, lobbies, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry, document arrivals and departures, and report unusual activity according to post orders.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities and communicating with site contacts when appropriate.Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for security-related concerns, damaged barriers, open doors, and/or other conditions that could impact daily operations.Complete routine reports and logs related to access activity, deliveries, visitor traffic, and incident observations while following Allied Universal standards and site-specific policies. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Be at least 21 years of age.A guard card and/or license is preferred.The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
