We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our premises and personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates. Duties will include conducting regular inspections, responding promptly to alarms and emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs of daily activities and incidents. Strong observational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential for this role. In addition to maintaining a secure environment, the Security Officer will also engage with employees and visitors to provide information and assistance as needed. The role requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively report security issues and collaborate with law enforcement when necessary. Candidates must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid security guard license or certification is also required.
