About this role
Join our team as an Entry-Level Construction Laborer and learn the foundations of building, site preparation, and material handling. You’ll work under the guidance of skilled tradesmen on active job sites, gaining exposure to multiple aspects of the construction process.
Key Responsibilities
Installation and Maintenance:
· Assist in site preparation, material transport, and equipment setup.
· Operate hand and small power tools safely.
· Support skilled workers (carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers).
· Clean and maintain work areas to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Safety and Compliance:
· Attend daily safety meetings and adhere to all site safety rules.
· Wear proper PPE and maintain clean work zones.
· Follow instructions regarding heavy machinery and hazardous areas.
Documentation and Reporting:
· Track materials used and daily job progress.
· Communicate issues or safety concerns promptly.
Work Environment and Expectations
This position requires physical activity outdoors in varying weather. Laborers must be dependable, punctual, and ready to work on projects that may involve lifting 80 lbs and standing for extended periods.
Requirements
· Must be at least 18 years old.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
· Willingness to learn and follow directions.
Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Health insurance, paid training, opportunities for advancement. Schedule: Monday–Friday
