You'll handle the removal of old roofing materials before making repairs to the structure and applying new roofing materials. ### What You'll Do Your day-to-day work includes handling and installing roofing components, inspecting and testing roofs for leaks, and suggesting necessary repairs. You'll repair leaks and other roof problems while being attentive to clients, acting professionally on the job, and cleaning up thoroughly once the project is complete. Following all safety protocols is essential to this position. You may also perform other work-duties as assigned. ## What We're Looking For We prefer candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of professional roofing or construction experience. You should be proficient with industry equipment and hand tools, and comfortable with the physical demands of roofing work. You'll need the ability to lift between 40-50 pounds regularly and be comfortable working outside in varying weather conditions. Climbing ladders safely is a fundamental requirement, and you should be comfortable working in close proximity to others, typically within a few feet. ## Working Conditions You'll regularly wear gloves, hard hats, safety goggles, or ear plugs depending on the job. You may be exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures when working outdoors. The physical demands described are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. ## Schedule Monday - Friday schedule with a start time of 5:00 AM. You'll work 8 to 10 hours daily, with hours subject to change based on workload. This is a full-time position paying between $20.00 to $22.00 hourly.
