Job Summary We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing goods for shipment, ensuring that all items meet quality standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop warehouse management skills within a dynamic environment. The position involves physical activity, including heavy lifting and load handling, and requires adherence to safety protocols. Previous warehouse experience knowledge are advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities Efficiently pick items from inventory based on order specifications using warehouse management systems Pack goods securely to prevent damage during transit, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders Load and unload stock using appropriate handling equipment such as forklifts, adhering to safety procedures Manage stock levels by stocking shelves and organising storage areas effectively Assist with shipping and receiving operations, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards before dispatching Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment Operate mechanical equipment safely and competently, including forklifts if certified Support inventory counts and stock audits as required Requirements Experience in materials handling, picking & packing, or warehouse management is preferred Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for quality control tasks Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and accuracy Able to use your initiative to complete tasks Benefits: Casual dress Free parking On-site parking Profit sharing Work Location: In person
