Part-time Counsellor

We are looking for a qualified and experienced counsellor to join our team in a flexible, part-time capacity. This role requires someone who is adaptable and available on short notice to provide cover for shifts during the day, night, and weekends as operational needs arise. The successful candidate will be contacted as required to cover 12-hour shifts (including 19h00–07h00 night shifts), as well as day and weekend shifts. Due to the nature of this role, flexibility and responsiveness are essential. Shift allocation will vary depending on operational demands. Responsibilities Provide telephonic, virtual, and face-to-face counselling and psychosocial support to clients Present psycho-educational workshops and facilitate support groups Conduct emergency trauma and fatality debriefings (onsite and virtual) Conduct research Compile reports Perform administrative duties Requirements BPsych or equivalent psychology degree Up-to-date registration with the HPCSA as a Registered Counsellor Valid driver’s licence Ability to provide counselling in two or more languages Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including short-notice day, night, and weekend shifts #J-18808-Ljbffr
