C.A.B. Freight Services is an expanding logistics company based in Ireland, with a long history in the Irish transport sector. With multiple Hiab crane services, our customers vary and we provide a large operation of services to the Irish construction/building sector. We have excellent opportunities for experienced drivers of rigid and artic trucks. Pay and Benefits Competitive wages offeredFull time contractIn-house and external training providedStaff car parkingContinuous improvement with Updated vehiclesPotential for Overtime and Weekend Work Requirements Hold a full Clean Irish Driving License, with full Digital Tachograph and valid CPC card where required.Driving is based in Greater Dublin and Nationwide including Northern Ireland.Must have positive ‘can-do’ attitude with flexibility.Have good problem-solving skills.Must have the ability to work on own initiative and with the team.Understand and comply with all health and safety requirements.Work well with others, staff and customers.Good English language comprehension, both written and spoken.Have good geographical knowledge of Dublin and routes Nationwide. Lorry Mounted Crane certification and experience an advantage but can be arranged for the correct candidate. Manual Handling & SafePass certification desirable but can be provided. Responsibilities Ensure all deliveries and collections are carried out to the company standards.Keep the Transport Office updated and notified during each working day.Comply with all tachograph rules and regulations at all times.Ensure that all POD’s are signed and printed for correct processing.Complete a daily vehicle check to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and that all checks are carried out in line with the ‘Daily Vehicle Check’ procedure.Drive in a safe and responsible manner at all times and complying with all current Road Transport Regulations at all times.Safely load and unload the vehicle where deliveries and collections are taking place.Ensure Load Security is carried out in a safe and correct manner.Ensure the vehicle is kept in a clean and presentable condition, both internally and externally.Comply with incident reporting processes and report any problems, such as accidental damage etc. immediately.Engage in ongoing training provided by the Company.Carry out any other reasonable duties as allocated by management. Licence/Certification: Correct Irish or European driving licence for the vehicle category (required).Driver CPC (required) Head Office Location: Finglas, Dublin 11. Requirements
